I have came to realize that there are a few things that I take for granted when it comes to computers.

1. Everyone knows exactly what I am talking about when it comes to computers

Well of course this isn't true, but sometimes I forget that not everyone I come in contact with reads about the latest and greatest technology or the latest and badest virus'. We are all guilty of it and I am certainly no exception. I have to sometimes think before I speak when talking to some of my friends and family. They don't know any more about computers than what is in front of them. And that is OK. I know nothing about veterinary medicine, so already my wife is one up on me. Keeping this in mind helps me explain to them about how to protect themselves from virus' or what program might best be suited for the job they are doing.

2. Everyone knows that the web page that just "popped-up" all of a sudden warning them that they have 50 virus', is a scam.

I really wish this were the case, but it's not. Which is the sole reason that these attackers make these kinds of virus'. They are crafty in their nefarious ways! The makers of virus' prey on the unknowing and naive. But this is not the fault of the person that clicks the link and runs the program. You don't know until you learn.

As for these problems, I have to admit, if it were not for them I would not have a second income. :)
